A high energy, creative force, Tanita Fadyeyola is a top Motivational Speaker, Movement Facilitator, Community Healing Advocate, Strategist & Wellness Consultant. 


The owner and creator of Move.Dance.LIVE!TM, a unique teaching method and well-being lifestyle brand, Tanita travels the world conducting movementshops and trainings, facilitating one-on-one soulwork sessions, and hosting cultural and healing arts retreats and wellness experiences. She combines her gift as an engaging facilitator with the power of dance, movement, meditation and affirmations to create experiences that lead to personal and professional growth.


Under the Move.Dance.LIVE!TM brand, Tanita designed Afrofunk! DanceFit® classes, fusing her love for African-inspired dance with movement affirmations, resulting in transformative experiences where dance is medicine. Through her unique teaching method, participants attune and heal their minds, bodies and spirits, unlocking the potential for transformation in every aspect of their lives. Her clients come from a wide range of backgrounds, including fellow healers and instructors, as well as groups and individuals who desire more holistic and meaningful connections with their students, clients, colleagues, family and peers. She's had the pleasure of working with diverse groups of international clients, including Cal State University Northridge, Capital Jazz Cruises, LinkedIn Corporation, Skirball Cultural Center, The Hollis Co., Tom Joyner Foundation Fantastic Voyage and Walt Disney World Co.


Tanita, affectionately called "Mama T" by community members, is a staunch advocate for community healing and wellness. She also holds certificates in Aromatouch (Essential Oil Technique), EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), TFT (Thought Field Therapy), Reiki (Levels I and II), Yoga (Hatha and Vinyasa) and is an eternal student of herbalism and naturalopathic medicine. She curates healing circles, sunrise practices, holistic resets, gratitude gatherings, cultural Celebrations and one-on-one self-empathy road mapping sessions using indigenous and modern practices and techniques that invite us to restore our vital life energy, heal and claim ourselves.


Tanita is a "Philly girl," born and raised in South Philadelphia. She attended the University of Pittsburgh, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in African and Urban Studies. Pitt is also where she became a proud servant-leader of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. (Xi Delta, Spr' 94). She remains financially active to date and serves as the International Vice Director of Honorary Membership.


She enjoys working and living bicoastally, based in Los Angeles and at her Retreat Home & Wellness Sanctuary in Orlando, Florida. She celebrates 26 years with her husband Doug and remains grateful for her three "suns," Jalani 24, Akili 21 (University of Hawaii) and Bodi,17.
